I've gone through my fair share of monthly subscriptions. First, I was subscribed to the Doki Doki box - a box full of cute Japanese collectibles and appeal, Second, I was subscribed to Gamer Girl Monthly - a bag of 5 pieces of gamer related jewelry, each month having a different theme. I ended up cancelling both because I felt like I kept receiving the same things and didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth. That's when I started researching for a monthly makeup subscription. I wear makeup daily and it can be expensive to buy new makeup so I thought it might be worth looking into. After a lot of research, I finally decided on Ipsy. For $10 a month, you get 5 pieces of beauty samples (makeup, brushes etc) + a makeup bag. Honestly, I felt like the bag itself would have cost $10 and felt like it would be worth to give it a shot.

What I especially like about Ipsy, is they customize it based on you. When you sign up, you take a mini quiz and answer questions about your skin type, skin color, how familiar you are with makeup, what makeup you like etc. Because of this, my monthly bag is specifically tailored to me which is awesome.

Although this isn't my first Ipsy bag I wanted to start doing a monthly reveal of the items I've received in my bag. July 2017's theme is called "Overeasy" and features Gudetama on the outside of the bag. Being a huge fan of all things Japanese, I was especially excited about this. Gudetama is one of my favorite Sanrio characters and also my spirit animal.

One of the first things I pulled out was these 2 TONYMOLY face masks. I got a Green Tea & Lotus mask. I love Japanese/Korean facial products so I'm particularly excited to try these out. Reg. Price - $3.00 e/a

I also received Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Rose-Gold Blush. I'm really into rose gold right now and like how its a summer shimmery color. Reg. Price - $14.00

The last 3 items in the bag are Ofra Gold Eyeshadow (Reg. Price - $5.00), Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Liner (Reg. Price - $18.00) and an IBY Beauty Crease Brush (Reg. Price - $12.00).

Anyone on the fence about signing up for a monthly makeup subscription, I HIGHLY recommend Ipsy. I've been a subscriber since February 2017 and I couldn't be more happy. I've loved/used almost every product I've received. $10 a month is such a great price, no wonder there is a waiting list to get on!
